Elephanta caves

These are situated in Elephanta Island, which is nearly around forty minute ferry rides from Gateway of India.  It might interest you that UNESCO has declared Elephanta Caves, belonging to six hundred AD, as a World Heritage Site. This is a famous sculpture spot in Mumbai. The stone sculptures of Hindu and Buddhist gods here are dented because of Portuguese who made use of them in their sword practice. Marine Drive

It is something that you cannot miss in Mumbai.  Marine Drive   lies in the heart of Mumbai and so you can have convenient access to it from any place in Mumbai. It is three kilometres in length and it boundaries Arabian Sea creating a bay. The entire stretch is ‘C’ shaped that associates Nariman Point and Babulnath. The spot caters amazing view of sunset. Tourists are captivated to Marine Drive wherein they might stroll in the path and experience the cool breeze. You can always find a great amount of merriment at this place.
