Gateway of India

Apparently the first place that comes to mind is Gateway of India. The purpose of this 85 feet tall structure was to honour King George, Fifth’s visit to Mumbai. He was the last of British soldiers that were to leave the country after independence; he departed through Gateway of India.  The beautiful architecture is an ideal mix of three styles known as Hindu, Islam and even European Gothic styles.    You can relish the sea breeze at this place.
